We are seeking a reliable and motivated *Sanitation Technician* to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the process equipment to establish a clean environment for producing and packaging quality products.
Ensures equipment and facility are effectively sanitized in accordance with established food manufacturing regulations and in compliance with government sanitation requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Run dishwashing machine.

* Pressure wash and foam equipment using industrial pressure foam applicators.
* Performs plant cleaning as prescribed by the Master Sanitation Schedule.
Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of plant.
* Utilizes powered cleaning equipment that may include: powered lifts, scissors lifts, power washers, foam applicators, steamers, and various other non-mechanized equipment.
* Demonstrates the ability to operate equipment such as floor jacks, vacuum cleaner, floor scrubber in a safe and knowledgeable manner.
* Follows instructions for safe lifting and carrying various sizes, shapes, and weight of objects; identifies/reports defective equipment; reports all job-related injuries to management.
* Disassembles and reassembles manufacturing lines including machines, pumps, bucket elevators, and other processing equipment.
* Keep floors clean including sweeping and mopping floors, use floor scrubber, scraper, etc.
* Communicate with Quality Tech and Supervisor regarding any non-conformance or questionable food contact surfaces.
*Minimum Job and Education Requirements*
* One year Sanitation experience in a food manufacturing setting preferred.
* Good written, mathematical, and verbal communication skills.
* Able to understand and communicate work instructions in English.
* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
* Able to work in a team environment and on own with little supervision.
* Basic knowledge of the function and operation of sanitation equipment.
* Must be customer-and team-oriented, reliable and able to meet attendance standards.
* Ability to maintain attention to detail over several hours, while working in a fast paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
