Oregon Garden Resort in Silverton, OR is looking for one dishwasher to join our strong team.

Department: Food and Beverage Job Title: Dishwasher Positions Overview: A dishwasher plays a vital role in the smooth operation of a restaurant or food service establishment by ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and maintained in a hygienic manner.
Essential Functions: 1.
Operate commercial dishwashing equipment, such as dishwashers and pot washers, to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
2.
Hand wash delicate or heavily soiled items as necessary.
3.
Sort and stack cleaned items properly for storage or reuse.
4.
Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and free from food residue.
5.
Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including keeping floors, sinks, and work surfaces clean and free from clutter.
This includes sweeping and mopping the floors and cleaning the walls daily.
6.
Regularly clean and maintain dishwashing equipment to ensure proper functioning.
7.
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate manager for repair or replacement.
8.
Follow proper procedures for handling and storing cleaning chemicals.
9.
Assist in monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
10.
Keep track of dishware, glassware, and utensils inventory, notifying management when replacements are needed.
11.
Help maintain an organized storage area for clean dishes, utensils, and equipment.
12.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to sanitation procedures.
13.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, identifying and promptly addressing any potential hazards.
14.
Adhere to food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the cleanliness of kitchen items.
15.
Work efficiently to keep up with the demands of the kitchen and maintain a steady supply of clean dishes and utensils.
16.
Prioritize tasks to meet the needs of the kitchen staff and ensure that clean items are readily available when needed.
17.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week.
Compensation is $14.
20 - $15.
20/hour.
