Meet the Northwest Genealogist
Carol recently retired to free up time to pursue her passion for genealogy.
Her research has provided numerous family histories, many with pictures and stories.
Carol’s interest in genealogy is rooted deep in her childhood, as many of her relatives also have done substantial genealogical research over the last 60 years.
Her attention to detail and ability to quickly (mostly) find ancestors caught the attention of the R.
C.
Hill Trust who requested she help find descendants who would qualify for scholarships.
Carol and her husband, Pete, founded the Alpaca Blanket Project in 2005.
This successful business did what had never been done before–producing luxurious blankets using American alpaca fiber under Pendleton Woolen Mills premium black label.
Due to Pete’s increasing health issues, this amazing business was sold several years later.
Carol’s careers include management and medical billing administration, both of which utilized and strengthened her innate attention to detail and joy, her great joy, her exuberance in finding hidden information, her gems.
She is spectacular as a genealogist!

Complete family lines cannot be guaranteed due to lost documentation from wars, fires, or other loss of records.
(What genealogists call “brick walls.
”) Additional research can be requested at an hourly rate.
Although this does not guarantee success, Carol is very good at finding her “gems” of hidden information.
Turnaround time for family tree charts
Minimum two weeks.
Every reasonable attempt is made to obtain as much documentation as possible within the agreed time frame.
Additional research can be provided if time is available.
