Lile Moving & Storage has been a leader in the transportation business in the Pacific Northwest for over 60 years.
On a team, helpers prepare, pack, load, and unload items on our box trucks and trailers.
Helpers work a physically demanding job that requires heavy lifting.
We are looking for candidates who are physically able to do the work and we provide the necessary training for qualified individuals.
*Requirements:*
- Lifting, loading, and unloading heavy boxes, equipment, and furniture.
Must be able to safely lift 75 – 100 lbs on a frequent basis.
- Efficiently pack smaller items into boxes, taking care to protect fragile items.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances.
- Able to use dollies, ramps, and other equipment to load and unload trucks.
- Work as a team and interact with other movers to effectively complete each job.
- Provide excellent customer service; movers have a key role in following customers’ requests and answering their questions.
- Communicate effectively with all team members and customers as needed.
- Assist in regular maintenance of the vehicle including cleaning trucks after completing a job.
- Experience in household moving or office relocation is strongly preferred, but we will train the right person!
