We are looking for a Full-time Blower Truck Operator to lead a small crew delivering and installing organic materials such as bark, compost, and soils to residential and commercial customers.
This position requires an individual who has enthusiasm, an excellent driving record, good attention to detail, and team leadership skills, including communication and excellent customer service.
Will exercise optimal maneuverability on-site in a blower truck.
The driver will follow all safety and driving requirements.
This position has opportunities for Overtime and Prevailing Wage.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Will drive, maneuver and operate a bark blower truck to deliver and install organic materials such as bark, compost, and soils.
Occasional use of various hand and power tools, forklifts, and loaders.
Will be team lead for a small crew.
Will answer customer questions and provide customer service.
Must have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body.
Be able to reach overhead; able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Be able to lift 25 lbs of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must possess a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License, (CDL)
Three years of experience preferred, and a clean driving record
Able to communicate well with co-workers and customers
Valid Medical Card
High school diploma or equivalent
Familiar with Salem and surrounding areas & ability to read a map or guide
Must be hardworking and self-motivated
Prior supervision skills are a plus
Able to pass all pre-employment screenings
