Job Description:
Business Oregon is currently hiring a Business Analyst (Information Systems Specialist 6) within the Technology Services Section of the Operations Division.

What you will do: Analyze user needs and system requirements through discussion with individual users or small groups of users.
Develop detailed feature requirements from the high-level business requirements.
Create object models that represents application structure and create data models that represents the logical groupings of data in coordination with application developers, when necessary.
Participate in Joint Application Development sessions and work groups, including reviewing assumptions and plans with users.
Conduct design walkthroughs with peers, supervisors, and users to obtain agreement on the proposed design solution.
Ensure architecture standards are being followed in the analysis, design, and construction of the system.
Collaborate with other IT staff or consultants in requirement analysis, quality assurance, user acceptance testing and deployments.
Perform a variety of project tasks including project scoping, requirement analysis, high-level design, detailed design specifications, data analysis, spatial data development and maintenance, user training, and technical documentation.
Consult and coordinate with project managers, IT staff, vendors, and consultants to plan, inform, and share information.
Consult and coordinate with staff in other agencies to plan, inform, and share information.
