I am a wine professional and have a room available in my two-bedroom townhouse for a winery harvest intern for the upcoming 2024 vintage.
Posting now so that travelling and international harvest interns can secure their place to live for the harvest this summer/early fall.
Available when needed for whatever term is required.
Room is furnished with a nice and comfortable queen bed, tables, and more, and has a large closet.
The apartment is centrally located in McMinnville, you can walk downtown in 15 minutes, in less than one mile.
The kitchen is small, but well equipped.
There is a half bathroom downstairs, and a full bathroom upstairs that we would share.
There is laundry in the unit.
Landlord pays all utilities except electricity and Wi-Fi, $50-$100 a month each is my estimate for utilities, it will vary.
I keep a clean home, I love to cook, listen to music, watch movies, and get outdoors.
I am quite busy and will not be home much during the day as I manage a winery tasting room as my day job.
On the side I farm Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes (roughly one acre), and I have a small wine label that I am just getting started on.
After work and on my days off I will be at the winery in Corvallis where my wines are made or working in the vineyards.
Last year I relocated back to Oregon after spending 4 years in Sonoma County and Napa Valley.
During that time, I found that hosting harvest interns is a wonderful experience as it lets me meet more people from around the world who love wine, and usually food.
